Shovel-pruning. Terrible rose here. Black spot. Wire-y stems. Confused blooms. Weird fade. Taller than wide.

I have its half-sister, 'Burst of Joy', that does not have these issues. Well, the summer fade could be better and the blooms approach grandiflora size, but otherwise superior in every other way.

I have Ay Caramba! and it is miles above it's parent Ketchup & Mustard IMO. It's also better than Burst of Joy which also has K&M as a parent. It was more vigorous than both and the coloring always got a lot of compliments by everyone. It's gaudy, and I like gaudy colors.

Rose Geek on Youtube just did a video with this rose included, so others can get a look to what the color actually is.

The video is 'Potted Roses Blooming on Saltwater Pier // Romantic David Austin & Meilland Roses' at the 2:25 mark. I cant link it here so just copy and paste if you want to see its actual color.

The orders havent been sent yet. I ordered it.

I notice in the promo pic it has Ketchup and Mustard's thin-wooded stems, so that worries me, but the lineage in general seems okay. Im curious to see how this color pans out, because I havent seen this combination before.

I have a seedling from Ebb Tide x Livin Easy, that looks like Purple Heart does, but the orange peeks out at the base in the spring/fall season. I am wondering if the effect is a little like that.

Either way, it looks conceptually interesting enough to take a low-risk gamble on.
