Breeder's notes: 2 quite different seedlings: one low growing, somewhat similar to 'Escapade'' with large clusters of pink-painted-on-white blooms, white reverse, lacy sepals. Other is a rich red with slight striping, white petal midrib, buds *almost* mossy with abundant red glands, flowers a bit less double but better form, intermediate between Baby Faraux and the quartered button-eye form. Redoing this kind of cross, purple polyantha x some other stripped mini moss rose, should yield very nice garden plants.

Notes: Gets bad leaf spot at the end of the season. Petals tend to stay too long. |
