Rosiers Nouveaux Mis au Commerce en 1914
Notre confrère M. A. Guillaud, rosiériste à Grand-Lemps (Isère), a mis au commerce, au printemps 1914:
Comtesse de Fels (Hybride de thé).—Issue des variétés Madame Abel Chatenay X Prince de Bulgarie; coloris blanc, centre teinté de jaune aurore; boutons allongés s'ouvrant bien; très odorante; pédoncule long et fort; très bonne pour la fleur coupée; ne se tache pas à la pluie et supporte les plus fortes chaleurs.
La gravure noire de cette magnifique rose a paru dans le numéro de 1er octobre 1913, page 159 du Journal des Roses.

Our colleague Mr. A. Guillaud, rose-grower of Grand-Lemps (Isère) offered for sale in spring of 1914:
Comtesse de Fels (Hybrid Tea).—Offspring of Madame Abel Chatenay X Prince de Bulgarie; the color is white with the center tinted a sunrise yellow; the elongated buds open well; very fragrant; the flower stem is long and sturdy; very good as a cut flower; the bloom isn't damaged by rain or extreme heat.
An illustration of this magnificent rose appeared in the 1 October 1913 issue of Journal des Roses, page 159.
