Cespugli con fiori rosa-lilla, alti fino a m. 2.50. Sono rose fortissime, perché in questa zona d'inverno la temperatura scende a -30^o centigradi. Ne avevamo già preso delle talee nel 1988, e le piante che ne sono venute fuori sono state piantate in gruppo con "Roseraie de l'Hay", con i cui fiori, di colore più scuro, fanno un bel contrasto. Rispetto alla rosa francese hanno foglie più piccole e più chiare.

Ibrido di R. rugosa, trovato a Urumqi, capitale del Sinkiang, nel 1994. Ne abbiamo visto cespugli alti fino a m. 2.50 Le talee portata dalla Cina ci hanno dato 2 piante m. 1.20 x 1.00, pollonanti, foglie piccole grigio verdi, fiori cremisi semidoppi profumati, stami giallo oro.

Bushes with lilac-pink flowers, up to 2.50 m. They are very hardyroses, because in this area in winter the temperature drops to -30^o centigrade. We had already taken cuttings from it in 1988, and the plants that came out were planted in groups with "Roseraie de l'Hay", whose darker colored flowers make a nice contrast. Compared to the French rose they have smaller and lighter foliage.

Hybrid of R. rugosa, found in Urumqi, capital of Sinkiang, in 1994. We have seen bushes up to 2.50 m. The cuttings brought from China gave us 2 plants 1.20 x 1.00 m, suckers, small gray-green foliage, fragrant semi-double crimson blooms, golden yellow stamens.
