p26. Dr. Owen M. Moulden. The Production of New Roses. The new varieties which I have sent abroad for trial have not yet been named, and are still labelled with their stud book numbers, They are: M26, M28 and M34. M34. —This is a Rose of exhibition form. It forms a very strong-growing, free-branching bush. The foliage is medium green and relatively mildew proof. The blooms are borne on very long, wiry stems. The colour of the blooms is a light shade of China pink. The texture of the petals is delicate, and they are forty to fifty-five in number. The distinguishing characteristics of this variety are the strength of growth and the colour and form and delicate texture of the blooms.
