Thomas Proll of Kordes mentioned in the Rose Society UK "All about new roses 2024 webinar" that the parentage of Zauberhaft is Phoenix X (Sunstar X Summer Sun). He also notes it is four generations from Flower Carpet Pink from which it inherited its disease resistance. Flower Carpet Pink was crossed with a cut flower rose.
