If this is really a picture of the rose "Heart's Desire" I want to know where I may purchase a plant or a cutting. Please let me know. Michael Hart xxxxxxx@aol.com

Yes, it is a picture of my plant of Heart's Desire. The only place that I know of one for sale now (and it happens to come from the same mother plant as my plant came from) is through the rare rose auction being held this weekend by my rose society. We are taking internet bids up to Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at noon. If you want to bid on that plant, then see www.ccrsauction.com for instructions on bidding. Vintage Gardens sometimes carries this variety also, but not at the moment, according to their website.

Thanks for the reply. I will be out of town, but I would like to bid. However, when I filled out the Excel form and tried to email it, it would not work-----probably because my system does not have compatibility. Here is the information: Michael Hart 2090 East Lakeshore Drive Agoura, CA 91301 818-489-0151 xxxxxx@aol.com Initial bid $6 and Maximum bit $15. I have no idea what the plant is worth. This is sentimental purchase from childhood memory.

Hi there, Mr. Hart. I'm sorry to let you know that you did not win the rose "Heart's Desire" at today's auction. The winning bid for that rose was $41. Maybe next year, and thanks for bidding.
