Just beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing these new photos. I have a plant on order for spring 2012, and I hope mine will be just as lovely as yours.

Thanks Kathy! I love this rose too. It is very beautiful - and tough and healthy too.
I think there are a few different roses being sold under the name 'Anna Olivier' and you might be safer looking for it under the name 'Lady Roberts' in the US.

Billy, when you say it is showing 'Lady Roberts' coloring in the caption for the photo, are you saying that it has sported to 'Lady Roberts', or that it is just part of the normal color changeability of 'Anna Olivier'? The 'Anna Olivier' that I have ordered is supposed to be the apricot one, not the yellow Bermuda form. Thanks.

It's part of the normal colour range in my 'Anna Olivier'. When it was younger, the blooms tended to be mostly pale - flesh to apricot with or without the darker terracotta blotch, but as the plant has gotten older, these more extreme colour variations seem to be more common.
I like the interesting surprises that greet you in the garden some days!
I think this rose is just quite sensitive to temperature and conditions rather than sporting. It continues to produce blooms that range from very pale to quite intense. The petal count varies with conditions as well. It is much fuller in the cooler months here.
The longer I grow this rose, the more I wonder whether Lady Roberts was ever a stable sport.
If you look at the early references for Anna Olivier, some commentators were noting the darker colour well before Lady Roberts was introduced. And there was also quite a lot of discussion/complaint about the way Lady Roberts refused to stay consistently deep in colour.
It sounds like you have the right one ordered.
