Cliff - if I shake the scroller up and down, I am sure those golden dew drops will be shaken off. That is such a clear and evocative photograph. I guess it is just reminding me of water.

Thanks, Patricia. Yesterday was the first time that we've had any rain at all for many months. California is in a severe drought and here in the desert we've had zero rain for as long as most of us can remember.

I suppose you're right. I was also taking advantage of the fact that it was an overcast day, as taking photos of roses in our blazing desert sun can be problematic, to put it mildly.
