In cool weather, opening buds are distinctly yellow. Blooms fade to ivory white.

This is a very changeable rose in our garden, and is not infrequently subtly striped and stippled.

VERY low-growing -- MAYbe reaching 2 ft. tall, sl. wider than tall. While not self-cleaning, it does bloom whether or not it's deadheaded, and old blooms can be snapped off by hand. Mostly thornless. No rust. No mildew.
