ALEXANDER HILL GRAY, T. (A. Dickson). - The respect of all Rose-lovers warrants the issuing of a Champion Rose, and a Tea at that, to pay our due homage to one of the World's greatest Tea Rose Growers. Growth vigorous and erect, and wonderfully floriferous. Blooms of very large size, great substance and perfect formation, with high pointed centre, from which the petals gracefully reflex. Its solid deep throughout "Marechal Niel"-like lemon yellow colour intensifies as the bloom develops. Strongly Tea perfumed. The best and largest pure yellow Tea Rose yet produced, superb in every respect, and valuable for any purpose. An ideal exhibition bloom of the first rank, especially fine in Autumn. Gold Medal N.R.S. 5/-.

Alice Amos Single flowers of a brilliant cherry pink with white eye, borne in large trusses. A very beautiful variety and much admired by all visitors to "Roseland". Growth strong.

Amy Johnson (H.T.) This beautiful Rose is named after the great lady flyer to commemorate her landing in Australia. Tt is a very vigorous, healthy grower, with good foliage and sweetly-scented flowers of a lovely shade of pink; the large blooms are produced continuously right into winter. It can be grown as a pillar or bush rose.

Annie Besant  HT.  A vigourous growing and free flowering variety. Blooms very large; full perfectly formed; colour delicate salmon pink suffused satiny flesh; very beautiful.

Aspirant Marcel Rouyer (H.T.) Vigorous grower of erect habit, very long pointed bud, very large full flower, elegantly shell shaped, beautiful. Deep apricot, reddish apricot in centre, tinted salmon flesh on outer petals, veined deep yellow at the base. Fine for exhibition and decorative purposes. 2/-

Baroness von Ittersum Climbing Polyantha.  Most vigorous and beautiful glossy deep-green foliage, flowering profusely and continuously; colour brilliant scarlet-crimson on an orange-red ground; superb.

Climbing Roses. Billy Boiler. (HT). A dazzling red Rose that makes long, upright shoots, always crowned with buds. no rose could be more free in flowering, and the blooms are most effective in water and last well. It can be used as a bush or pillar rose, and is a most striking object in the garden, and is absolutely distinct from any other rose. It has a fine constitution, and will thrive in any position.
