„Immortella" is een zaailing van onze „Koningin Emma". Zij lijkt op hare moeder, doch is meer gevuld en met wat geel in 't hart. Heel gracieus!

"Immortella" is a seedling of our "Queen Emma". She resembles the mother, but is fuller and with some yellow in the bloom's center. Very graceful!

„La Hollande", prachtige snijroos van loof en bloem. Zij ontving een certificaat 1ste klasse te Amsterdam en niemand van de vele bezoekers van onze rozenvelden zal er aan twijfelen, dat het eene variëteit is van toekomst, eene roos, welke in massa gaat gekweekt worden. De kleur is bij uitstek schoon, prachtig wit met iets geelrose; de bloembladeren zijn stijf en buigen zich om tot een spits, gelijk La France. Daarbij is zij flink van schot en groelkracht, zoodat zij op den snoei gemakkelijk terugkomt.

"La Hollande" is a cut rose of splendid foliage and flower. It received a 1st class certificate in Amsterdam and none of the many visitors to our rose fields can doubt that it is a variety of the future, a rose that will be grown in great numbers. The color is exceptionally beautiful, a fine white with a touch of yellow-pink; the petals are stiff and bend into a point, like La France. It is also strong and vigorous, so that it responds well to pruning.

„Neervelt", prachtig schitterend rood van kleur, gelijk Mac. Arthur, daarbij vol en flink van grootte. 't Is een ideaal van snijroos en klimroos tevens. Het schot is tot snijroos en klimroos tevens. Het schot is tot 3 Meter en meer, waarlangs de zijscheuten met bloem verschijnen. Deze bloemscheuten zijn dun maar stijf en hebben de lengte van ½ Meter en meer. Neervelt groeit en bloeit tot de vorst invalt. Zij is gewonnen van Gloire de Dyon, waarvan zij het glanzend, groene loof heeft en van Princesse de Béarn, van wie zij de kleur erfde. 't Is eene variëteit, welke nog niet zoo licht zal geëvenaard of verdrongen worden. Dat haar eene drukke verspreiding staat te wachten, daarvoor dient het feit, dat drie rozenkweekers uit ons land onder eede hebben verklaard voor de rechtbank, dat elk exemplaar van Neervelt van winterveredelingen in één winter de kapitale som van pl. m. 100 gulden, als 't allerminste zuivere winst bedrag, kan en zal opleveren. Dat pleit toch wel voor hare waarde!

"Neervelt" is a beautiful brilliant red color, like MacArthur, also full and of good size. It is an ideal cut rose and climbing rose at the same time. The shoots are suitable both for cutting and as a climbing rose. The shoot is up to 3 meters and more, along which the side shoots with flowers appear. These flower shoots are thin but stiff, and have a length of ½ meter or more. Neervelt grows and blooms until the frost sets in. It was obtained from Gloire de Dijon, from which it has the glossy, green foliage and from Princesse de Béarn, from whom it inherited its color. It is a variety that will not be equalled or supplanted easily. That it anticipates widespread distribution is signalled by the fact that three rose growers from our country have declared under oath before the court that each plant of Neervelt from one winter's culture can and will yield the capital sum of approximately 100 guilders, at the very least. That certainly speaks for its value!
