Love your selections. Where on the coast are you? Whenever I am in the area I stop by and see Lisa at Countryside Roses in Pass Christian. Loved to see your garden next spring when I am in Mobile for Easter.

Hi,
I'm so flattered and yes, we'd love to have you stop by :) I am in Moss Point, just a little west of Mobile, Ala. Things got slow and ugly for a year or two (had a bit of depression and dropped off the gardening scene), but feel great now and seem to have caught the gardening bug again this year! I just got 7 more DA's and am out now looking to find homes for them.

Thank you! Mine doesn't have a scent at all, either. I thought I just couldn't smell it. Mine is vigorous, however~ its hits at least 8 feet in late summer. It is gorgeous to look at, but I'd like a scent out of it :o)

No scent here, either. Have two bushes bought at different times, both now several years old, no scent at all. Vigorous grower, though, easily reaching six feet plus by the end of the summer, with beautiful blooms.

I can't notice a scent either . I wondered if I had the name wrong, but it certainly looks like "paradise" and I was pretty sure that  was the name on the identification tag when I bought it . I too wonder why the description says "strong scent"

I have had this rose since February 3. Where all the others are leafed out and have buds about to open, this one barely has two or three leaflets... and is dying back. I called the nursery where I bought it from and they said their's are extremely small and dying back, too. All the other Floribundas are doing fine for them, as well.

Is anyone else having problems with this rose?

Thank you,

Linda

Addendum:

I shovel pruned it and found it had NO new white roots. Every root appeared to be limp and dead. It is being soaked in root stimulator and will be placed in an "observation pot" just in case. It is replaced with a gorgeous "Honey Bouquet" :o).

Hi Linda:

Were you able to revive your Lavender Lace?  Mine just barely came back last year and unfortunately looks like it is not coming back at all for this year.
