This very strong myrrh is a must for any fragrance collection. Among my 160 fragrant own root roses, none can match this unique frankincense and so cozy scent that warms my soul. It reminds of a cozy fireplace and incense in Catholic special mass. Blooms last 4 days in the vase if cut from buds. Mine is 13-year-own root in zone 5, short & compact and drought tolerant.

Mary Magdalene has the best myrrh scent among my 39 Austin roses. In the winter I miss its scent so I bought a bottle of Frankincense, and that cannot measure up to Mary's intense cozy myrrh and mystical scent. It's a constant bloomer and is drought tolerant and stays compact & small as 13th-year own root. It's the earliest to bloom in May and the latest blooming in Thanksgiving in my zone 5.
