Bred by Jack E. Christensen (United States, 1982). Bred by Herbert C. Swim (United States, 1982).
Introduced in United States by Armstrong Nursery as 'Candlelight'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, pink edges.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered, spiral centers bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy, upright, well-branched.  Large, semi-glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
