Sorry, but here I go again! According to the Harkness catalogue, Harlassie, also called The Brownie Rose, was a new rose for 2005, introduced at the Chelsea Show 2004, and is yellow, not pink ... The Brownie Rose is not in your catalogue ...

Judith, thank you! This confusion with 'Fairy Maid' seems to have be longstanding. I've added The Brownie Rose, and I'll clear up HARlassie as the breeder code just as soon as I understand what happened to poor Fairy Maid.

Judith, that's such a good idea, I'll do it right now. They are a very nice family. I thought I should make at least a little effort to solve the mystery without bothering them.
