I saw this rose in full bloom at the Gore Public Gardens yesterday, where most varieties were suffering to varying degrees from rain damage inflicted in the previous few days. Dame Cath was in perfect condition, suggesting that it is very resistant to rain damage. A beautiful rose, too.
