Do you have a photo of Patriot? I have three unidentified rose bushes and one tag found nearby with the name Patriot - A Hybrid Tea by Jackson & Perkins. I called J&P and the hybridizer's surviving spouse. No luck. Thank you.

Steve,

All of the photos you find on the HelpMeFind site are contributed by users of the site. If we don't have a photo of a given rose, it is because one has not been submitted to HMF.

I did do a Google Image search for 'Patriot' and could not come up with an image for you. I am sorry.

Smiles,

Lyn

I gave mine to a neighbor when I was a teenager. Its a moderate, damask red. Its moderate and stalky, unlike the super tall Mr Lincoln. If I recall, the blooms were more globular, kind of like Chryslar Imperial is. In fact, Patriot reminded me of an updated, but 1980s, version of Chrysler Imperial. The scent was 50/50. Overall, it was one of the better 1980s/90s reds, but nothing could compete with Olympiad then. Olympiad took the world by storm, and many red HT's became overshadowed by it.

Thank you for the recent reply to my 2005 post. I will wait until the three untagged roses bloom and compare them with your comments. Maybe I will then have one more identified with your help.
