Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1986).
Class:
Floribunda, Florists Rose, Patio.  
Bloom:
Yellow.  Mild fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  

Height: up to 16" (up to 40cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Jackson & Perkins Greenhouse Roses says Frisco is the standard yellow sweetheart on the market. It is known worldwide for its incredible production and outstanding vase life.
