This is a triploid sister seedling to the diploid Alba Meidiland ('MEIflopan') and the "aunt" of Bonica (MEIdomonac).

Under references it says this rose (Swany) endures very low temperatures and is one of the best growing roses in Norway and under the Plant tab it's described as zone 6b and needing protection. I wonder if the description is a little off?

A common problem and that's where HMF comes in. The intent is for site guests to use the plant's Journal tab or Comments tab to share their insight and experience with the roses they grow or are familiar with. If enough people participate we get a really good picture on how a plant performs in varying locals and conditions.
HMF visitors need to understand this website's greatest value is as a TOOL to collect and organize (unlike a simple forum) the insight and experience from gardeners around the world.
We urge everyone to take the time to participate.
