Freedom Gardens has stated that Racy Lady and Whisper are indeed different and indeed sisters, and that Racy Lady was retained by them instead of Whisper because it has been hardier for them. Good to know!

Is "Racy Lady" available in U.S. under another name? Also looking for a red HT named "Leslie". Saw photos of both in a N.Z. rose garden.

I found one at Home Depot under the name "Whisper." The other websites I've hit also seem to indicate that as an alternate name.

Sorry about the nine year wait, but if you're still sitting at your computer waiting for an answer, the "Leslie" rose you asked about may have been the red HT "Leslie's Dream", aka "Pavarotti". This rose is much better known (in New Zealand at least) by the latter name but for some unfathomable reason a group planting in Dunedin Botanic Garden is labelled "Leslie's Dream" and the usually very knowledgeable rose garden curator wasn't aware it was one and the same as "Pavarotti".
