Origin:

Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1886). Bred by Pierre Guillot (1855-1918) (France, 1886).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Gloire des Polyantha'.

Bloom:

Pink, white undertones, deep pink center. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 1". Small, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, globular, scalloped bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.
