Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1954).

Bloom:
Light yellow.  Mild, lemon fragrance.  up to 30 petals.  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium to large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: 8' to 10' (245 to 305cm).  Width: up to 8' (up to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
