Origin:

Bred by Keith G. Laver (Canada, 2001).
Introduced in Canada by Niagara Under Glass Inc. in 2001 as 'Niagara Wildfire'.

Class:

Miniature.

Bloom:

Dark red. None / no fragrance. 26 to 40 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Medium, bushy. Small, glossy, dark green foliage.

Height: 8" to 10" (20 to 25cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
