Bloom:
Deep pink to red, purple shading. Strong, clove, spice, sweet fragrance. 4 to 44 petals. Average diameter 4.5". Large, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, flat bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Short, spreading. Large, semi-glossy, medium green, dense foliage. 7 to 9 leaflets.
Height: 20" to 35" (50 to 90cm). Width: 4'11" to 8'2" (150 to 250cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, garden, ground cover, hedge or landscape. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy. Prune lightly or not at all. Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.

he new variety of Hybrid Rugosa rose plant was created by artificial pollination wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) was the `Flower Carpet White` variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,573). The `Flower Carpet White` variety sometimes is known as the `Noaschnee` variety.
