Orange blend Miniature. Registration name: MANprideExhibition name: George's Pride ™
Bloom:
Orange blend. None to mild fragrance. Average diameter 2". Medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, exhibition, high-centered bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: up to 18" (up to 45cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, exhibition or garden. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

PLEASE NOTE : This is a sport of my miniature 'Glowing Amber'
Here now some basic information about this mini sport : (more detailed info about bloom, habit & growing coming soon)
The bloom form, foliage and growing habits are identical to 'Glowing Amber'.
-----The blooms open "Just as slow" as 'Glowing Amber's.-----
In my opinion the blooms are more colorful than those of 'Amber Star' (first sport of 'Glowing Amber') and the foliage is dark green like 'Glowing Amber' s compared to 'Amber Star's' foliage which is a grayish light green.
The dark green and shiny foliage is above average disease resistant, as are all my other introductions (mainly minis) in the last 12 to 15 years. Some of my roses can go 2 to 3 months, or longer, without spraying a fungicide.
