White.  Moderate, clover, green apple fragrance.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Spreading.  Semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 6' (185cm).  Width: 20' (610cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for ground cover.  Prune after flowering is finished.

Notes:
R. luciae Franch. & Rochebr. (1871). According to IOPI, R. wichurana Crép. is a synonym of R. luciae with R. luciae var. wichuraiana (Crép.) Koidz an accepted variety of R. luciae, i.e. at least two varieties of R. wichurana (correctly: R. luciae) exist in commerce.

Hips are oval and red.
