Bred by Marie-Louise (Louisette) Meilland (Paolino) (1920-1987) (France, 1976).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1976 as 'White Gem'.
Introduced in Australia by Ross Roses in 1979 as 'White Gem'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Cream, tan shading.  Mild fragrance.  90 to 100 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Large, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 10" to 14" (25 to 35cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
