To say that it is disease resistant is, based on in my experience in NJ, somewhat of an exaggeration. While it did not dissolve away in its first year due to blackspot infections like some hybrid tea roses, I think it was gone by the end of year two thanks to blackspot. So it's probably not a great choice for the muggy American South or Plains states. It is a well branched, vigorous, and foliferous rose which I am happy to grow in AZ near Cupcake and Toscana Vigorosa.
