Codename seems to imply Lemon Flower Circus as the male parent.

I have briefly grown this rose and Sunrise Vigorosa, but I find Gelber Engel to be prettier, which is why I kept it (GE) out of the 3. SV is probably bred out of GE, based on the codename and traits.

This rose is being marketed as "Splice" by Treloar Roses in Australia this year. Treloar's catalogue makes no mention of any fragrance, although HMF's description includes "strong fragrance". I checked the Kordes Rosen site, to find that this rose rates just one star for fragrance; so perhaps the description should be amended.
