Nevada, Pere Dot, 1927 Hybrid Moyesii, milk-white, yellow centre, pink flecks on petals, buds shaded crimson, white [?] and in later lesser blooms a more accentuated pink tone appears. This animaly it has also passed on to its sport Marguerite Hil, thick and rounded shrub, arching habit, atatins 2,1 m height and more, vigorous and leafy, single or slightly semi-double single with occasional additional petals), 8-12 cm diameter, very large and flat, repeats, a great profusion of blooms in May, moderate flowering in summer, aromatic fragrance, ample and lax apple-green foliage, dewscends from La Giralda (H.T, 1925 Dot) crossed with R. moyesii Fargesii or with R. spinosissima Altaica, cultivar with the charm of wild species but with the advantage of repeat during summer. Mahogany-coloured branches, slightly prickly. The buds contrast well with the blooms already expanded. Ordinary garden soil, Tolerates partial shade, can be planted with the groundcover rose Nozomi, if it is pruned severely in March the summer bloom will be more important, but then the spring bloom is less spectacular. As a solitaire (in the middle of a grass plot or at the entrance of a pergola), requires a lot of free space around it, bibliography: AER-MCF10

[From "Històries de les Roses"]
Pere Dot, l’aventura de les roses a Catalunya
Translation:
... He later recounts the flowering of this Pernetiana of his (possibly La Giralda.HP, 1926) with Moyesii and says that it is repeating with plenty of flowers, of simple flowers of about eight petals of about 10cm. of diameter, white, slightly pink flesh and crimson tinted on the inside, with gold ribbed bottoms, with a vine-like appearance, thick foliage and almost no prickles....Regarding the origin of the name, JH Nicolas explains that “Two years ago we received in Breeze Hill samples of the new seedlings of Pere Dot, among which was the beautiful Li Burés that had excited us so much. There was also a beautiful rose that was presented as a hybrid of La Giralda X R. Moyesii. It immediately produces large, large, white flowers of enormous beauty, and occasionally similar flowers, but with hints of crimson, throughout the season. We told Mr. Dot how much we liked it and he answered us this: "I am very happy with the comments made about my rose, Giralda X R. Moyesii. This rose, so far, has had no name, so it is a pleasure to leave it in your hands to choose the name you like best. I'll send you a picture of the rose."
We had some dilemmas to find a suitable name for the new rose and finally “Nevada” emerged, because it is short, easy to pronounce and appropriate, as it has an American part and also meaning in Spanish. We were very pleased to receive the approval of the name from Mr. Dot, and it will certainly be introduced in due course ”.
