5335 Sierra Road San Jose, California 95132 United States
We are open most days except a few Mondays and Thursdays during April, May and June when our field is bursting with color from our vast collection of tall bearded irises and peonies. We are situated on a very picturesque country road in the hills above Milpitas in the San Francisco Bay area. E-mail for directions.
Roses of Yesterday and Today
7 May 2005 (Saturday) - 8 May 2005 (Sunday)
803 Browns Valley Road Watsonville, California 95076 United States
We encourage visitors to enjoy a picnic in our display garden any time of year and view the potted roses for sale everyday 9-4. On Mother's Day weekend every year, both Saturday and Sunday, we have our annual Open House. We are here all weekend, 9-4, to answer questions and offer lemonade, ice tea, and cookies, and we hope you come to meet us and see the current year's potted roses. We usually offer some special selections of potted roses that may have not been in our bare root selection, and sometimes have bare root roses discounted for sale. This beautiful mountain canyon, with its great redwoods, maples, fern and a rippling stream is peaceful and cooling to visit any time of year, but the roses are at their peak during May and June. Most bloom repeatedly and can be seen all during the summer months, and even into fall. In winter, there are random blooms and many varieties with rose hips.
