'Climbing General MacArthur' late spring, Perth, Western Australia.
A very beautiful and fragrant rose that is deeper in colour than this photo suggests.
Thanks to Patricia Routley for this rose and to Mrs. Sheila Gravett, from whose garden Patricia collected it.
Budded onto Fortuniana by Peter Ellis.

Gloriously fragrant - 'Climbing General MacArthur' late spring, Perth, Western Australia.
The red rose in the background is its offspring, the beautifully fragrant, almost thornless 'Marie Nabonnand' (sold as "Beales' Monsieur Tillier" etc and also seen as Noella Nabonnand in some nurseries and gardens.)
Thanks to Patricia Routley for this rose and to Mrs. Sheila Gravett, from whose garden Patricia collected it.
