Bloom: Copper - orange, purple shading.  Strong fragrance.  Large, semi-double to double, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.   
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.

 Henry Coppin was living as a gardener in the same village as the Earl of Eldon had his mansion "Shirley House". It is probable that he dedicated the rose to 3rd Earl.
