Bloom:
Dark red to dark purple, dark red shading. Strong fragrance. 40 to 50 petals. Average diameter 4". Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, quartered, scalloped bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.
Height: 3' to 7' (90 to 215cm). Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer. Plant in partial shade for best color. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to Mildew.
