Origin:
Discovered by Andre Du Pont (circa 1805).
Class:
Centifolia.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Strong fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Wavy or ruffled foliage.  3 to 12 leaflets.  
Height of up to 18" (up to 45 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Notes:
According to Thory, the foliage of this variety often reverted to the normal form, so that it had to be re-grafted from time-to-time to keep the characteristics.
