Rose-pink, blue shading, copper center, lighter edges, ages to crimson . Moderate fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Armed with thorns / prickles. Matte, grey-green foliage.
Height of 4' to 10' (120 to 305 cm). Width of 3' to 10' (90 to 305 cm).
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower, garden or landscape. Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.

Probably named after Archiduc Joseph de Habsbourg-Lorraine (Joseph Karl von Österreich) (March 12, 1833 Bratislava - June 13, 1905 Rijeka), Austria-Hungarian prince, amateur botanist
