T. A. Stewart. From the gardens our course took us to Warrawee and the privilege of meeting Mrs. Fitzhardinge, the honoured raiser of the ‘Warrawee’ Rose, of enjoying her hospitality and seeing the many beautiful seedlings that she has raised which beautify her garden, and which, I feel, must further enhance her fame as a hybridist. Here we saw the original ‘Warrawee’ and some with quaint names, one of which I remember as ‘Plain Jane’ but quite a good Jane, in spite of her name.
