Bloom: Pink blend.  Flowers candy pink with white suffused light pink reverse, aging to medium pink.  Mild fragrance.  26 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 4.25".  Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.   
Habit: Medium, bushy.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  
 Height: 30" to 5' (75 to 150cm).  Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, garden, hedge or shrub.  Hardy.  produces decorative hips.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).

His more recent achievement has been hybridizing the beautiful Romantica Series of roses which is receiving world-wide acclaim.
