Vancouver, Canada. summer 09. Although this clematis looked gorgeous supported by the peony, by the fifth year it was so dominant that we moved it.

Ours definitely will be much taller than in the HMF description. At the end of the second year it was about 7 ft. Also the colour starts as shown here in the photo, although it fades to white in the sun.
