Hello, does ANYONE know a nursery that is CURRENTLY selling Rosa Primula,(in the USA,since in South Florida, we're a little leery of shipping live plants from Canada : long shipping can fry live plants at the wrong time of the year); The one source I found seems to have gone under in the brutal financial undertow. Thank you for any information you can send me-C.Ross

Species roses are really easy to grow from seed, and I've been searching for seed for this one for years. I'm about to break down and buy a plant from Canada, and if I do, I'll save you seed! Have you found any seed sources, even? Frustrating, isn't it?

You may try to contact Museo dellaRosa Antica in Italy.
They have several rose species' seeds, to be required at this page: http://www.museoroseantiche.it/viewnode.do?pagine_name=1+Seme from "il Seminatore".
Hope it helps!

Thanks for the information!

I did try a grafted R. primula from Canada, but it didn't survive its first winter.
