In a lightly-shaded greenhouse, it tends to stay a nice apricot color.

Fortuniana in Lakeland Florida, May 2019. Once a year, after they finish flowering, the plants send up these huge new canes, most of which will be completely or almost completely without prickles. They are also stiff and straight, so they make excellent understock cuttings. We get most of our annual supply of rootstock plants from this one flush, each year.

A 4-year-old plant, still comfortable in a 1-gallon pot. This is the slowest-growing rose I've ever grown.

Color of 'Rosaleen' seems to be quite variable. This is a new plant in the FSC garden, on a 97°F (36C) day, and the flowers are light- to medium pink!
