Thanks, an extraordinary rose quite disease free. It grows in a sidewalk's crack in front of the house (Northen side, no air circulation and only few sun hours before the sunset from March to October). It never had any kind of fertilisation nor any kind of watering (since it is impossible to do : the plant growing from a crack.......)

How often does it bloom for you during the growing season?

I informed the owner of this rose and garden about Your post, for he didn't visit this site for quite a while and seldom checks the mail-address connected to his HMF-account.

Oops...there's a glitch in the system, that makes it look as if replies are not posted, when pushing the continue button. and deleting the double post is not possible.

Dear Bellarosa,
normally I use horse manure associated seldom with Nitrophoska Gold and Blue and the naturally rich soil makes the rest : )

The roses Il Giardino dei Pigri photographed in februari in Rome: (do You or another HMF-member recognize them?)
I sent this comment to Vladimír Ježovič... http://www.helpmefind.com/gardening/l.php?l=99.5071
But appeared as "HMF member". and now as "Other"

That is an incredibly beautiful hedge. There seems to be more than one variety and I'll have a wild stab at 'Bengale Cerise' and 'Old Blush'

It's indeed a georgeous hedge Patricia, Thank You for Your reaction. "The Lazy Gardener" will obtain cuttings or even rooted cuttings from the female owner in june.
So he can compare them with Your suggestions.
