I have tried repeatedly to sign up. The verification code, that I am typing correctly does not work. So I cannot join! This should be fixed, or better yet eliminated.

The verification code processing is working properly for us. Can you give it another try and let the support dept know how you make out.
The verification process is, unfortunately, a must as without it computer programs called "bots" would be opening fictitious accounts all day long.
