Henri made it through his first winter. He is centered in front of the fallen "bee tree", a habitat log i kept after I tried to cut and save the honey bees inside. The town had cut the tree because it was hollow. I tried to cut wedges out of the tree with a chain saw but it was over 3 feet tall on its side. I had a hive ready. The bees swarmed one day and hopefully found a better home. Henri is flanked by The Bishop, Nightmoss, and Othello. He is own root and bought from Linda's Long Ago Roses 5/15.
