Bred by Louis Smirnow (United States, before 1993).
Introduced in New Zealand by John & Dot McFarlane in 2001 as 'Gallant Rogue'.
Class:
Hybrid suffruticosa, Tree peony.  
Bloom:
Pink, dark purple flares.  Semi-double, flat bloom form.  Midseason.  
Habit:

Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm).
