Discovered by B. & O. Slater (New Zealand, 1989).
Introduced in United States by Caprice Farm Nursery in 1994 as 'Waitawa Glorious'.
Class:
Hybrid suffruticosa.  
Bloom:
Red.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 8".  Large, single bloom form.  Midseason.  
Breeder's notes:
Foliage turns bronze-green in fall.
