'Darlow's Enigma' now 6th year own root, US zone 7, NJ; Friday, June 11, 2021. Reference prior 3 years of photos. After last years downpour causing some of the main stems to bend downward the growth rate slowed and the height dropped to about 5 1/2 feet (1.67m). While the growth rate has not been as fast as in its younger years it is just slightly over 6 feet high (1.82m) and 7 feet wide (2.1m). The slower growth rate may be attributable to a larger bush. This is the view of the north facing side of the bush. The hedge is to the south. It receives 8 to 10 hours of sun.

The red bush is a well-cared-for Dr. Huey which I inherited when moving to this house some 25 years ago. Been taking good care of the Dr. for about 4 years now.
