'Cuisse de Nymphe émue' is a selection of and differs from 'Cuisse de Nymphe' by its deeper, even pink colour.

Pépinières Loubert and Sangerhausen say the breeder is Dumont de Courset and assign a date of 1802. This refers only to the first mention of 'Cuisse de Nymphe' in Dumont de Courset's "Le botaniste cultivateur". According to Prévost, Vibert called this rose 'Belle Thérèse', and did not mark it as his own cultivar. Hardy states in his 1837 catalogue that he is the breeder.
