Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1908 as 'W. E. Lippiatt'.

Scarlet, brown shading.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Bushy, well-branched.
